Well, obviously, I left off a question. I had a 6th question and it did not get included in the post. By the time I noticed this error, I had already received entries, so I decided not to mention or correct it.

I tried to come up with a couple of 50/50 questions, a couple of could be anything questions, and a couple that I wasn't sure what would happen with. Well, here are the results:

1. Fast and cheap?

This was one of the 50/50 questions, but I think it was skewed by the placement right before the second question. I think I would've received a lot different responses based on where the question was placed. My personal thought on this one was I would get a lot of Taco Bells and fewer McDonalds. Here is what actually happened.

McDonalds 24
Taco Bell 6

2. Best Fries?

This one was a gimme, of course, but I thought it was one where some people could be led astray. Indeed, there were some puzzling responses where I think some people were more concerned with giving their favorite fry place instead of the obvious winner.

McDonalds 21
Wendys 4
Chik-Fil-A 1
Five Guys 1
Jack-in-the-Box 1
Arbys 1

3. New fast food item?

I expected to get a wide variety of responses to this one instead of a runaway, but I might have been misled by the plethora of Sonics in my area serving Coneys.

Hot Dogs 13
Pizza 4
Fish/Trout 3
Yogurt 1
Pie 1
Rice 1
Philly Cheesesteak 1
McRib 1
Gyros 1
Chinese 1
Steak 1
Mac n Cheese 1

4. Kids avoid?

Another one where I expected a pretty wide variety of answers and I think I succeeded on this one. At least I got something right.

Wendys 6
Arbys 6
Subway 5
Long John Silvers 5
Taco Bell 3
Burger King 2
Hot n Now 1
McDonalds 1
Boston Market 1

5. And the great divider. I thought there might be a Popeyes or Churchs or Charlies or something else here, but I knew who the 2 biggies would be. So did everyone else it seems.

KFC 21
Chik-Fil-A 9

I think due to missing a question and misjudging a couple of questions, this edition actually turned out to be a touch too easy and consequently we have a four way tie for the win. What exactly the convention for breaking the tie is, I'm not sure (first entry received?), but this edition's winners are:

Congratulations to the winners:

These are in order of receipt.

I was in it until the french fry question - but everyone in the South knows that Chick Fil A waffle fries are the best fries, ever, in the history of the world.

I couldn't remember the name of that place -- I knew a lot of FOFC southerners talk about it, but couldn't think of the name, so I went with KFC. Guessing 'trout' instead of hot dogs is what killed me.

1.) Whoever answered Five Guys for best fries is correct, though the point about Chick Fil A waffle fries is well taken. In college, whenever I knew that I would have to have one meal hold me up for most of the day, I would get a Chick Fil A sandwich and large waffle fries and use ranch dressing instead of ketchup. The ~18,000 fat calories in that meal would sit nice and heavy for a good 8 hours.

2.) In the past, when we have had a tie, generally the winners discussed among themselves what to do. Mostly, they end up running it together. I am not sure whether we have ever had a four way tie, though.

I think MJ4H should ask 1 question, with a specific "right" answer (like how much/many of something), and whoever guesses closest to the correct answer (over or under) wins...

I relinquish any rights I have to run the next IWS jointly, as I am out of town for 10 days starting tonight.

1.) Whoever answered Five Guys for best fries/cheeseburgers/anything they sell is correct.

Fixed, and QFT.

Well, Panda Express sells rice, so you're answer is clearly wrong as well.

It's weird that all the winners said Arby's for #4, when Wendy's would have given them just as many points.

I'll bequeath my responsibilities to any of the other winners if they want to take the reigns, but will also be willing to run all or part of it if need be. Let me know, peeps.
