I was wondering who the who has been the worst QB (talent wise) to lead you to the FOF Bowl championship?
For me its Marques Tuiasosopo.
Playing as the Houston Texans I drafted Julius Peppers with the first overall pick, then snagged QB Joey Harrington with the first pick in the 2nd round. Harrington's stats didn't look that great, but I figured he'd be a servicable starter and possibly be a steal. After 3 years of struggling with injuries he broke out in 2005 and had a great season throwing for 39 touchdowns, starting all 16 games, and leading the team to the AFC championship before falling in the championship game. 2006 started out with High expectations, but in the first game of the season Harrington went down with a season ending injury. My backup who steps in to replace him: Marques Tuiasosopo At this point I figured the season was over and started thinking about the high draft pick I would have. The losing record through 5 games just confirmed that. Then things started turning around. Behind a decent core of players and an awsome DL anchored by DE Peppers and the DT I drafted 1st overall in 2003, the Texans ended up winning the division. Of course I still expected to fall early. To my surprise, Tuiasosopo led the team to the championship. Because of this I've kept him on my team (paying more than I usually pay for a backup QB) and he is still a very good fill in. Harrington has only played all 16 games one other time, 2009, when he finally won a ring on his own.
