Ladyhawke.
I can't think of one worse. It's bad on it's own, but combined with the genre of the movie, it's horrific.
One of the most disappointing for a movie that I had high hopes for was Contact.

I have your winner right here: Silent Running.
Maybe you remember Bruce Dern as an astronaut/gardener in this stinker from the early seventies. Might be you even remember it fondly. But try watching it now. The extended sequences where the audience is subjected to witheringly painful folk music are just brutal. This was a film with a message, and they drilled it into your head with the subtlety of the rusty drill Steve Martin used in Little Shop of Horrors.
This of course ignores those movies with mostly rap/hip hop soundtracks, which have their own circle in the depths of hell.

Dirty Dancing
The Time of My Life, She's Like the Wind, Hungry Eyes..... ugh... I want to puncture my eardrums.

Manhunter and scarface are two of my favorite movies but the music in each are so dated. Other than inna gada da vita.

I totally read that as Sodomize Seymour and I wondered what your wife had against that poor bastard.

By definition she would have had to have some type of phallic object, I would imagine.

I wasn't knocking the music from Little Shop of Horrors. Just used the rusty mechanical drill to illustrate how painful the Silent Running experience can be.
