Anyone else tried this yet? I saw a preview A LONG time back, so long ago that I figured it died a quiet death, but Crayon Physics Deluxe (http://www.kloonigames.com/blog/crayonphysics/crayon-physics-deluxe-demo-and-faq) was released recently. I've downloaded the Demo, and I can already tell I'm a buyer.

This is a pretty nice time waster, and I'm sure I've only scraped the surface after a half dozen levels.

No Love?

I guess I didn't exactly elaborate on how it works. This harkens back to the Incredible Machine. Essentially you are confronted with puzzles. Here is a ball and here is a star. The object is to get the ball to pass through the star. Rather than dragging and dropping components in to assemble a machine, you draw them.

If you draw a square, it becomes a block with weight proportional to its size. Also, once you finish drawing it, if nothing is supporting its weight, it falls. This can be used to move blocks, to fuel a see saw or a catapult.

I had to pry my wife and kids away from the computer just to post this. My four year old is chanting "I want to Play Crayon Phyiscs".

So in any case....here is a bit more of the explanation that I couldn't pull myself away from the game long enough to type earlier.

This is cool - seems a little easy so far, but I only played two or three islands' worth.

thinking about it, with the crayons and all it might be a great game for kids

Yeah, I have a freeware crayon physics clone for my internet tablet. It definitely is a neat little timewaster...
