Enter up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, enter

It worked for me earlier, and now it doesn't for me and it doesn't for a friend of mine.

Worked for me the first time, not the 2nd. The Konami Code Makes ESPN.com Magical! | Kotaku Australia (http://www.kotaku.com.au/2009/04/the-konami-code-makes-espncom-magical/) if you want to see what it did.

It was removed pretty quick. My guess a web developer's secret. Maybe he got laid off and decided to let the cat out of the bag.

Surprised ESPN didn't let it stay up for a day or so. It's one of those things that would have gone massively viral and brought them some good traffic. Always funny to see how clueless these big media companies are to viral marketing.

Great advertising. It got me to go to espn.com for the first time in months... (years?)

Yeah same, then I was quickly reminded as to why it had been so long since I last went. Give me sports.yahoo.com any day over that mess of a page.

Yup. If I need a "flashy" sports site, it's CBS for me or CNNSI for decent stories. I miss The Sporting News's old website. The only reason I visit ESPN is Streak for the Cash. Occasionally I notice a poll.
