This is an interesting (and long) article about the political ideology behind the Iraq war and a view of America's potential future.

That is one of the oddest things I've seen. A lot of effort for very little.

no no, it was very little effort to post. I could do it again in a second, even if I was not Microsoft Certified.

Anytime I see something like this coming from JohnGalt and the like, I know what I'm going to read before I even click on the link.
I will not comment on the article, save to say that there are no new "facts", just more suppositions from a magazine proudly touting it's endorsement from James Carville, and which has this quote from Joshua Micah Marshall (really sir, two names are enough) on it's home page: "I've become associated over the last several months with the proposition that the Bush foreign policy team is simply incompetent. I have to tell you though that in recent days I have been repeatedly shocked by just how true this seems to be."
When does Peter Arnett get his column?

I know I'm taking the above out of context from the original posting - just wanted to add the following based on this remark
British foreign policy however works wonderfully - Britain's policy has always been 'divide and conquor' - We don't want a united Europe, guess what with a little help from Bush we certainly don't have one now :D
Once the Iraqi mess is sorted, Britain, Spain and Australia will have an advantage with the US in determining what happens next, we will use it to our advantage to completely screw the French, Germans, Italians and others and hopefully really foul up the European Ideal.
I love it when a plan comes together :p
