View Full Version : OT: Shameless Pimping of My Website

After a couple of weeks of trial and error, I finally went live with camedwards.com today. While it's mostly for listeners of the show, there are random rants and links to other sites as well.

Anyway, I just figured if Skydog can pimp his cd, I can pimp my website. After all, my product is free. :)

Any suggestions or modifications are appreciated.

Damn! You can see the future? What's going to happen on April 5?

Trust me, you don't want to know. :)

Looks good, Cam. When are you going to have live streaming of your show?

I'll take a double latte.

Looks pretty good Cam.

:( That I don't know. Streaming costs money, and this website is independently run (i.e. no corporate money used). It could be awhile.

Cam: Is this going to be primarily a blog?

Yeah. I want something that I can update myself, and since I'm not HTML competent, blogging seems to be the best way to do it. If the show gets bigger, if I were to ever get syndicated, or if the possibility of audio archiving became a reality I might get out of blogging mode, but for now it's the easiest way to go.

ever have one of those days when you are so tired you completely misread things?

"Shemales Pimping My Website" was my first read of the subject

1. I get to sell more CD's.
2. I get to piss off Hell Atlantic.

Lance Cpl. Stephen Steven Funk says he didn't realize joining the Marine Reserves would mean he might have to kill people. In fact, he's been telling reporters " they don't really advertise that they kill people. I didn't really realize the full implication of what I was doing."

How do you not realize that members of the military kill people when we're at war? He says he thought it was kind of like the Boy Scouts. Now he wants to be discharged as a conscientious objector. I say if he really wants to tell the truth, he should apply for discharge as an unconscious objector, because he's apparently brain dead.

That's funny

Cam: Sorry it took me a while to respond, damn dialup service. Good luck with the blog. While we don't agree politically on much, I think good blogs are an important way to dispense info. Here's hoping you hit the million hits mark sooner rather than later!

scooper,

I thought about adding a link to this message board, but you know.. I have to have at least one place where I can go and be crude and obnoxious. :)
