This guy (http://operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=64181) seems to think so. I'm not so sure.
While we're obviously seeing a lot of great and terrible threads this year, it seems like only last year we were talking about how so many threads had a chance to make Mt. Rushmore.
It seems to me that it's not a case of parody being "dead", but parody, true Subby-like parody, never arriving in the first place. Instead, the point of the changes made in the wake of, say, the jbmagic boxings of the 2000s, was to make the message board considerably more coherent, but not to ensure that there would be a consistent cluster of around 8 parody threads each week.
