So I sold a TV tuner add-in card for my pc. The sale went off without a hitch. I included a pic of just the card and said it was used and gave a description of it.
When the purchaser received the card, he told me there was a cable missing. There were no cables on the card when I took it out of the system, but after researching it further, I saw there is an optional cable to connect to some front inputs. I never had a use for such a cable, but told the person I would check to see if I have it.
After scouring all of my PC stuff, I don't have a cable. I bought the card used as well, so I assume I didn't get the cable either, because I keep every cable just in case.
In my listing, I specified that returns are only if the product is dead on arrival. The card still works, but without the cable, the person can't hook up his system the way he wants (the card still works for all back panel inputs, just not front panel).
My question is, do I accept a return in this situation? I had no idea a cable was an option, but I never stated it wouldn't come without one (I also did not state if any software or manuals would come as well). The card works, so I don't personally feel its my fault the person did not ask any questions about a used product and if it included an optional component.
