Just had a thought. You know how you can add "non-Steam-purchased" games to Steam? If you do that does that then mean that they're accessible from everywhere like a normally Steam-purchased game? So if I add say PureSim or FOF to my Steam account I could access them from any other computer?

Or not?

No, it is just a shortcut to the location of the game/app. You need whatever you'd need otherwise to run the game without Steam. It is mostly to let your Steam friends see what game you're in or clean up your desktop if you want.

Anything more would get pretty damn shady license and legal-wise.

Click on Games and then "Add a Non-Steam Game to My Games list." I don't have a 2nd PC to test the other part.
