With the concerns about the lack of snow, I'm thinking they may have to keep them off the course in order to avoid turning it into a lake from the meltage.

Big fan of Shaun White are you?

Yes, young athletes are often attractive

I'd argue that the average female athlete is at most average, quite possibly below average, in the looks department. Let's face it, the magnitude of fugly that Rebecca Lobo represents drives the average waaaaay down.

But, your quasi college town around a state school. I'd say the median of the girls on all the sports teams is hotter than the median of the general campus. YMMV of course.

Yeah, if you paint that criteria, I'd still say the median of the sports girls would be less than the median of the general population. For every Brittany Jackson there's just a ton of sub-par, or as my wife sometimes says, girls in need of makeup & hair assistance (as in, only serious work is going to help, not that they're expected to start a game with a red carpet caliber paint job).

'Course it's all subjective, so mileage will indeed vary.

Depends on the sport. I'll take a pick of most college soccer players in a heartbeat. Gymnastics too for other reasons. But when you move into the basketball and softball categories, it seems the ratio of hot girls drops dramatically. You get your Jenny Finch's but also a couple of offensive guards mixed in.

As a female athlete, I'm just a little offended by this whole thread.

Okay, gymnastics does help the average I'd agree. Soccer, eh, less so from the relative handful I've seen. But surprisingly (to me anyway) volleyball doesn't seem to help the average much either.

Blasphemy! I can give you Soccer as there are some bad seeds that fall in, but no way on Volleyball. Tall, skinny, hot chicks in short shorts.

That's pretty mean of them to put #16 in the middle of the front row surrounded by hot blondes.
