Sorry y'all, I think I would like the year Iam close to the front, there would be a clear number one. Tihs seems to be the closest thing to it.

Hey guys, if it gets to me I'll be on by noon EST to make my pick. I would rather not submit a list for my first pick, hope that is cool with everyone.

No exceptions to the 1 hour clock when its active. Doesn't look like it will matter since no one else has picked, but we really have to push this during the day to get done on time.

I'll take Wesley Johnson, Syracuse.

1.3: RPI-Fan via list takes Sherron Collins, Kansas

Samdari
03-15-2010, 09:11 AM
Before the criticism starts, clearly Collins is the pick there, and mine is a total homer pick (plus I think SU got a completely free pass to the final 8).

Congrats, Radii, on getting to follow me in the draft and having that pick handed to you.

sadly its RPI-Fan's pick, not mine :) I would have taken Collins in that spot but I think its reasonably close given Kansas' much, much more difficult road.

Is there supposed to be a separate thread for discussion?

Marmel

Samdari- Am I the only Syracuse fan...no, make that, am I the only person who is very concerned about Arinze's injury? I have this sinking feeling that he is out for the whole postseason and it will be a struggle just to make the second weekend without him.

No, I had a discussion with my friend that he is probably out for the year, and they would try to hide it from the committee. Then they issue a press release Friday that paints a happy picture yet is vague about both the nature and duration of his injury. Then Sunday, just after the #1 seed is announced, the prognosis for Onuaku gets worse.

I just think they can beat the non-elite teams without him, and I think their road to the final 8 is paved with non-elite teams. Of their road to the final 8, I see them playing Vermont, Gonzaga, and Vanderbilt/Butler. Frankly, none of those teams scare me even a little. On a truly neutral court, Gonzaga might scare me, but Buffalo will be anything but neutral. There are going to be thousands of SU fans and 375 Gonzaga fans in the building.

nah, I try to keep the 2nd post updated with picks and everyone gets a PM when they're up, so it shouldn't be difficult for anyone to keep up through discussion :)
