So trying to use batch files, and followed the instructions set out below:
1. Go to user/appdata/roaming/solecismic software/front office football 2007/universe
2. Create a Folder called BLPF
* Unzip the pictures files which are found at bigleaguesports.net under the BLPF tab then under the league file tab and put them in this folder
* Unzip the cities files which are found at bigleaguesports.net under the BLPF tab then under the league file tab and put them in this folder
* add a copy of the Frfoot.exe file to this folder
3. Create a Folder Called BLHF
* Unzip the pictures files which are found at bigleaguesports.net under the BLHF tab then under the league file tab and put them in this folder
* Unzip the cities files which are found at bigleaguesports.net under the BLHF tab then under the league file tab and put them in this folder
* add a copy of the Frfoot.exe file to this folder
4. Open a new notepad document and in the note pad copy and paste ONE of the following which matches your operating system
THIS IS FOR WINDOWS 7 (copy everything that is below from the first copy to .exe)
copy universe\vnfl\frfoot.fni C:\Users\john\AppData\Roaming\soleci~1\fronto~1\universe
copy universe\vnfl\frfoot.fcy C:\Users\john\AppData\Roaming\soleci~1\fronto~1\universe
copy universe\vnfl\*.bmp pictures\
start frfoot2007.exe
5. After copying this into the notepad document change the location to your username.
6. After changing the location you need to change the folder. where it says vnfl in the vista script you would put either BLPF or BLHF depending on which one you are making at that time
7. Save this file as either BLPF.bat or BLHF.bat depending on which one you made. Save it at program files/solecismic software/front office football 2007
8. Repeat steps 4-7 for the other league.
9. Send a copy of both of the batch files you just made BLPF.bat and BLHF.bat to the desktop
10. Double click the BLPF.bat and open your BLPF game and look at the cities and nicknames. then close it
11. Double click the BLHF.bat and open your BLHF game and look at the cities and nicknames.
BLPF is a current league, BLHF is an older one. Getting the following problems:
1. In BLHF, the AFC North has the Houston Oilers instead of the Baltimore Ravens. While Houston is reflected, their nickname stays the Ravens, even when I use the BLHF batch file. Similarly, the Baltimore team is the Titans instead of the Ravens.
2. The Colts are from Wilmington, and the Texans are from Austin.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
