I understand that this is a promotion, but I feel hosed that I bought the game a week ago at full price when I could have waited a week and gotten it 25% off. Oh well, at least the IRS is evil!

Sorry bout that. Of course, you can still buy any of the other games for 25% off today. :)

No hard feelings. With 5.10 I'm not complaining about the product I got.

Hmm, I think this little ploy was directly caused by my debate with myself over buying OOTP or passing.
That is an evil trick Mr. Joe Stallings, E-V-I-L!

It was already a bargain at the full price, IMO. So snatch it up today fence-sitters.

Well, at least they renamed football.net to Total Control Football.

Hmm, maybe I'm mistaken, but a few years back wasn't there a Total Control Football? I seem to remember playing that, it had graphical representation of games(which I never once got to run) horribly buggy game, swear that was the name though.
Anybody remember this one?

It was called Total Control Football and it sucked big time.

The football game is called Total Pro Football, not Total Control Football. Total Control Football was a game made by Phillips in the mid-90s and while it had an impressive list of features for the time, it had too many problems to ever be a great game.

Very happy to have picked up OOTP5 last night. Can't stop with it so far.

The 25% off was all it took.
TCF was not that bad of a game. I spent many hours trading, signing and drafting players.

That is a severe understatement.

A couple of OOTP5 questions:
1 - when creating a custom league and playing in manager mode will all of the Team Strategies & Front Office settings change and then be handled by the computer? While making sure the setting were correct, prior to actually starting the manager career, that all of these are the same for each team. I would change them for each team if I have to but if I don't need to then that would save a lot of time.
2 - If I enter custom manager names for each team and then start the manager career will it automatically change my team’s manager name to the one I enter at the start of the career? If not then I will leave that teams manager blank.
Thanks.
