Another HATTRICK Question..

..Alright Guys, I'm curious as to what the best route is to go with your Specialists.. Here's what I've done..

Goaltending Coaches: 1
Assistant Coaches: 1
Sport Psychologists: 1
Spokepersons: 1
Economists: 1
Physiotherapists: 1
Doctors: 1

Alright.. is this necessary, or am I wasting $$ by having one of everything...or, do I not more staffers?

ok,

1) fire the economist. He doesn't even earn his salary unless you're over $200,000 in debt or have lots of money in the bank.

2) doctors aren't needed unless you have people injured.

3) I'd hire more physio's. Some people say you need one for every percent over 90 that you're training is, but you could probably get by with less.

4) You can have up to 10 assistant coaches + keeper coaches, suggested is usually 8+2 or 7+3, but since you're new you probably can't afford that many (frankly, unless you have a really good coach & decent trainees, they're not going to add an appreciable amount anyway... however they do help keep form up).

A good start for a new team is 5 assistants + 1 keeper coach.

Woah...OK here goes:

GK and Assistant coaches: You need to work up to 8/2 or 7/3 depending on what you train. 10 Total max (goes for all categories). I have 8 Assistants and 2 GK coaches. They help with training and help with players' form. Get as many as you can realistically afford.

Psychologists: They help with confidence and somewhat with team spirit. How is your team's ? If it's high, you don't really need these guys. If you're a .500 team, keeping 2-3 around is probably a good idea. If you lose a lot, maybe a few more than that. When team confidence gets to Wonderful, BEWARE. You may want to fire these guys to keep from becoming over-confident. You will lose if that happens.

Spokespersons: Help improve your sponser money. With a new D5/D6 team, I'd say more than 2 or 3 is overkill, but I would have at least 1.

Economists: Only help if you have $500,000 or more in the bank or more than $200,000 in debt. If not, don't carry any.

Physios: Help keep your players from injury. Tied to training intensity. At 90%, you can probably get away with none, but your players' form will suffer and training will take a little longer. Eventually you want to work up to 100% intensity with 10 physios. Do what you can afford. You can also get away with fewer than 1 physio per percent above 90 (a typical HT strategy), but you will likely have a few more injuries. I'm at 100% with 5, but average about 1 injury per game.

Doctors: Help players heal faster. Worthless if no one is injuried. Since I usually have 1 or 2 injured players, I keep 2 on staff. I would fire them if completely healthy.

For what it's worth, I train at 95% and have 2 physios, and I've only had 3 injuries in my 10 games of Hattrick.

P.S. Am I allowed to talk smack if I've been outscored 21-4 my last 4 games? Not to mention 19-0 in 3 of those.

Hell, I think I'll go hire some coaches. :)

Ahh, a Smackoff!!!

Actually I was informed by the Higher-Ups at Hattrick that should I lose at Home to the "Blow-Boys", I will be asked to resign as Owner/Executive Director of the First Coast Conquistadors. Apparently, the Higher-Ups would consider this to be an embarrassment of epic proportions for a Division V Hattrick Franchise.
Now that is pressure.. Look for FCC to enforce a MOTS status for this "Friendly", as we don't want to take any chances." :D

PS: You can talk smack all you want Calis, but the fact remains come next Wednesday the Plowboys will be Bitch-Slapped time and time again.... :D..
