For those of you who knew, my surgery went fine. I'm in more pain now, but will half my recovery time.
For those who didn't know... I ruptured 100% of my Achillies tendon play basketball (of all things) on Monday. The Doc said everything went great. It hurts like hell though... even with Percocet.
Well thanks for all the emails and HT-mails. You guys are a great commuminity...

They only gave you Percocet?
When they cut me to put a plate in my arm a little over a year ago they gave me Vicodin and muscle relaxants. Ah, what fond memories...

No, Farve was doing real pain killers, aka Vicodin.

Lytic,
It is good to hear that you are OK. I would like to confirm that the Gargoyles had nothing to do with this injury . . .
I wish a speedy recovery for you.

Best of luck, Lytic - I blew out my own Achilles running about 3 years ago, my ortho went for a non-surgical treatment, which went ok (passable?), but could have been better. I ended up getting about 90% of the range of motion back.
Here's hoping you do better!

This is going to just blow your draft status, especially coming just a week before it starts.
Good luck with rehab.
