Hello everyone,

Another Hattrick week is underway, my friends, and with it comes a whole bunch of league games...

This is the thread I will use to lighten my workload of hunting the game ratings for the more than 100 Hattrick members (!) we have on FOFC.

The only thing you need to post here is your team ratings, as it appears on the right side of your league game report. Only the one for your team, the one for your opponent is irrelevant.

As an example, here's what my post for my team's last league match ratings would look like:

Do a simple copy/paste instead of writing it up.
I need everything from the team name to the "Left Side Attack" rating.
Do not alter it in any way (like deleting the "Player rating and Team formation" line because it doesn't look cute).

This is simply because I use this whole thing just as it is. Your team name is need to add your entry in the ratings database and the it is easier to ask excel to ignore the extra line between your team name and the actual ratings than go and delete it everytime I input a team's ratings...

Also, if you make a mistake (like you realize a few hours later that you posted the wrong week), please PM me or repost your rating. DO NOT EDIT YOUR OLD RATINGS. There's a chance that I've already entered your ratings in the database and I might miss the "edit" mention on posts.

At some point on Monday, maybe even in the afternoon, once I'll have copied all the posted ratings, I will post in this thread that I am starting to hunt ratings from Hattrick. At that point, it will be too late for you to post your team ratings. Not that big a deal, it's simply that I don't want to wait for some guys that may not log into FOFC until Wednesday for whatever reason. Posting your ratings should not not take a lot of your time (do it right after reading you game report) but it will same me a lot of time. The Monday night deadline should give ample time to a lot of people to post their ratings.

Finally, comments about your team and the score of the game are welcome and encouraged. As long as your ratings are clearly separated from your comment, I won't have any problems with it.

To everybody who will post their ratings in here, I say: THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! :)

One comment for those interested about cup games. I was able to pull the cup games from HATStats for USA and Canada teams and from Hattrick manually for everybody else and I am in the process of incorporating them in the rankings. Here's how I will do it in the future, meaning from this week and onward. I will always use your team's best ratings between your league game and your cup game of the following Wednesday(that is if you are still in your national cup). I say the following Wednesday, because I use the same week as in Hattrick, where the league game is the first game od the week and the friendly/cup game is the second one of the week.

I will also do that retroactively for your NSI of your games in week 19.02 and 19.03, but no prior than that since only weeks 19.04, 19.03, and 19.02 are needed to compute the weighetd average after the 19.04 games.

Also, it need to be understood that because of that, and until every FOFC team will be out of their national cup, the weekly rankings won't be official until the cup games will have been play. That is on Wednesday. I'll post some preliminary rankings on Monday and some updated, final rankings for the week on Thursday.

Finally, even if you are still in your national cup, you are still invited to post your league game here. I will still need that rating to compare it to your cup game rating later in the week. Thanks.

I don't need your rating from last wednesday's game. I already have them. The ratings I need here are FOR THE LEAGUE GAMES PLAYED THIS WEEKEND.

For rexallsc here, that's not a big deal because I know the league game have not started in USA. Had this rating been posted tonight, I would have simply added it in my database and wouldn't have caught it. I don't check if people post the right ratings in here, that would be way too crazy...

If finance permit, load up on doctors. 3-5 should do. That may help get him back a bit quicker.

Well, last weeks cup match put me out of the running for this week. I underestimated my opponet and did not field my best squad. My team spirit sucks and we played like it. Stomped 5-1 at home, we will get them when we go and visit. That is the worst beating I have taken since I started hattrick. I am not happy and if I wasn't so close to getting out of debt, I'd fire my coach. The only problem he cost me 180000 just to get passable, and I don't want to think about what a solid coach is going to cost me.

If you're in my series, then yes that is what it takes. However, if I was in a "normal" Div. IV series, I'd have 9 or 10 points (instead of 5) by now, easy.

From my recent ratings, this is tremendously disappointing. But my form curve is definitely starting to show, as 6 of my starting guys have dropped in the last two weeks. Time to train General...

I lost 3-nil to the division leader while at his place. I think he MOTS-ed though...he's never gotten better than a weak midfield before, and he busted out with an inadequate today. Not much of an improvement, but with the value and form of his players, it shouldnt' happen like that. Grrrr...

Thanks everyone for posting your ratings this week. I should have the preliminary rankings up in a few minutes.

I say preliminary because starting now, the rankings for a week will be final only after the Wednesday cup games. That is to make sure everybody got their "A" team rating counted in the rankings. I will always use the best rating between your team's Sunday league game and the following Wednesday cup game if you are still in the cup.
