BYU 14

With the imminent demise of my X-Com dynasty in the next turn or two I am moving on to my next interactive adventure after a battle well fought against the aliens.
This dynasty will take place in a universe I have set up to model Baseball on the early 20th century as closely as possible.
The setup contains the 2 major leagues, with reserve clause and 5 independant minor leagues. The minor leagues will not have the reserve clause to emulate the constant jumping of players that took place between minor league teams at that time. I am using the spritze HS debut database with added minor leaguers and negro league stars. All players will debut as free agents and be available to sign by any team in the land. The high minors have financial capabilities close to the majors, while the lower minors are adjusted accordingly.
Leagues:
Majors - American and National Leagues - Reserve clause
High Minors - Federal and Pacific Coast League - 4 year free agency
Mid Minors - Eastern and Texas League - 2 yr free agency, adjusted finances
Low Minors - Cape Cod League - 1 yr free agency, adjusted finances
Trades are enabled between all leagues
Your career:
Will you be able to work your way up from the low minors and get purchased by a major league team, taking the diamond with the likes of Cobb, Wagner, Mathewson and Lajoie? Maybe you will go straight to the majors from high school or perhaps you are doomed to a career hopping from minor league team to minor league team, hoping for the chance that never comes, or finding contentment as another Joe Hauser.
Player info: (you will debut as a 17 or 18 yr old)

As well as 4 pitches ranked 1-4 (Fastball, Curve, Slider, Sinker, Knuckle Ball, Screwball, Cutter, Changeup, Splitter, Forkball, Circle Change or Knuckle Curve) Velocity will be determined by pitches chosen.
Potential will be determined by a random number generator, with current ratings being a percentage of potential. Premier ratings have a chance to be higher than normal, but that will not always be the case.
Year by year updates will be done, so this should move at a good pace and each season will include players stats, highlights, injuries and transaction as you try and earn your spot in the revised issue of "The Glory of their times"
This will start as soon as the Aliens defeat us in the X-Com dynasty.
