Ending at 3:35 HT Time later tonight (9:35 EST) is this goalie. I think he's only 3 weeks ago from bumping to excellent and the highest bid right now is only 157,000. I would buy him, but I don't have the cash.

I'm in the same boat. Hopefully there will be some bargains around after we sell our keepers.

Yeah, that's part of the reason I priced mine low. Not just to get a lot of people interested but also to hopefully get someone to bid on both early and give me some money to play with. It worked on the solid keeper and I now have a bid on a high passable for 100k. I don't think I'll be here later so I'll have to hope that stands up (Don't outbid me or I'll kill you). I have 2 high inadequates right now though, one in wretched form, but the real money is in turning solid to excellent and up. Once I promote or buy a solid/passable 17/18 yo I'll probably keep him and roll over my backup but until I find that guy I'll just keep rolling over two a week.

He ended up going for 231,000, definitely a bargain if he is trained for 3 weeks and re-sold at excellent.

The passable I had my eye on went for 123,000. If I had been on I definitely would have been willing to raise that up to at least 140.

that was me. i felt i needed a very good keeper for my new team, since everything else sucks.


so i might as well splurge on keeper and train him. will a solid coach 7 keepers do well?
