Cornerback Problem

What would you do? I traded for Sims before the draft, and then drafted Collins. He had a major boom after camp, and now it looks like Sims is going to struggle to see the field - unless I play him at Safety, but as you can see I've got some good players there as well.

The only tradeable contract is the rookie Collins'. What would you do? I feel like I'm wasting one of the guys' careers.

Ah, just like that it settled itself. In Week 1 of Preseason Foley blew out his knee.

I've always felt like the nickel back plays enough that 3 good CBs are worth having. It is also good in the event a guy blows out a knee like this.

To expand on this, I like to do it even in FOOL with no injuries. They play enough, plus it keeps a good CB away from another team. I also like having my 3rd WR be decent to take advantage of anyone who can't afford a decent 3rd CB.

sure, IRL. in fof when your 3rd cb is rated over 80? madness not to get him on the field over a 50 rated fs.

Yeah, in the base I think you would have to look at playing one of them at a safety spot, if they are better.

However, the player to look at would be your 3rd LB, and what he offers vs the CB and the S. You could run 100% nickel. Or something close.
