I want to be able to create a new player, and was wondering if that is possible?

A single custom player? No, I don't believe so. Sorry!

Actually, yes, you can. There's a default league file in the installation directory called players.csv. You could use that file as-is with the Player File Generator with one exception: add one line to it with the information on the custom player you want to create.
