I really love this game. I do, and I want it to work. I can simulate games without issue forever it would appear. I can browse everything in the ui for hours without issue. My problem is, when I am actually playing a game, where I call the plays, I get an error'"front office football has stopped responding"., and the Microsoft box that scans for a fix comes up for just a few seconds, then goes away. I am playing the vanilla version of FOF7, no graphics add ons, nothing. My computer is a Lenovo capable of running Warcraft at max resolution on ultra settings, so I know that isn't the problem. I am using windows 8.1, 64 bit...I REALLY wish I could get a fix for this. I try to play everyday I like it so much. It is crashing on me at a minimum of every 3rd or 4th game, sometimes inside of 4 minutes to go. that is really frustrating....Again, thanks if anyone can offer up some help

dunno if it will help but "run as administrator" may.

Thanks Steve. Yeah buddy I have tried running as admin, changing compatiblility, uninstall and reinstall....I bought my version from the FOF website itself and not steam,. I wonder if people using the steam version are having this same issue?.. I would hate to drop another 25$ on a game I already have to get the steam version, but if I cant work this out, I guess I have no choice if I want to continue playing.

If you've purchased before Steam you can trade in your keys, right, for the Steam version, free of charge.

That's odd - I've never encountered that before. To be fair, I have never called plays since FOF2k7 either.

I would be very interested to know how I could trade in my key code for access to the steam one, that would be well worth the try

You just run that unlicense.bat thing on all installs(it's in the directory)

Sounds like an issue that should be reported to Customer Support.

I'm just about ready to throw in the towel on this game. Its great don't get me wrong, but if 50% of the time the game stops working on me in the 4th quarter(I call plays) it makes the game look more and more like a pile of shit. I really really want this game to work for me. tonight I am in overtime 23-23, my giants against Washington, and BOOM, box pops up, FOF 7 has stopped working......game over.......over one hour shot to shit.......My pc is capable of running just about any game on the market.....I don't know what to do, I have emailed the guys at solescimic, right now I am really wishing someone would make a game like action pro with career. I don't know if that will ever happen

I imagine you would've gotten more help from the community if we called plays, but the vast majority of us who have been playing for a while don't call plays so we don't encounter the issue of it crashing.
