Heya,

1. Had a C, who suffered a severe ACL knee injury in an exhibition game & was out for 28 weeks. But I couldn´t place him on IR. Why?

2. Almost all of the players I aquire in FA, suffers from rating drops as they enter my roster. For example a player is scouted with 50/50, but if he is placed on my roster the ratings are shown 48/48?

3. Based on my limited observations so far, players seem to drop in their ratings at the age of 25/26/27 and when they hit the 30.
While I can understand a rating drop as a player gets older, I don´t understand the reasoning behind the rating drop when they are in their mid twenties.

For example a player is scouted with 50/50, but if he is placed on my roster the ratings are shown 48/48?Players not on the team are harder to judge for your staff. Once the players are in town, your staff can re-evaluate and sometimes realize the player is slightly worse (or better).

While I can understand a rating drop as a player gets older, I don´t understand the reasoning behind the rating drop when they are in their mid twenties.Are you talking about 'current' or 'future'? 'Current' can drop when the player had been overrated and the staff finally realized it. 'future' can drop if the player is fully developed, but just like with 'current' was overrated and for example goes from 32/40 to 33/33.

Naturally, I inactivated him. So no surprise I couldn´t place him on IR.
