I just bought FOF7 today.
In fact, I wanted it so badly that I purchased Parallels for my Mac and installed Windows 7 just to play the game.
Everything appears great except the Roster Commands button doesn't do anything when I click on it. Obviously, I can't play the game without it.
All other icons work fine.
I purchased the game through Steam and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game numerous times without the problems changing.
I noticed one other user who posted months ago about the same problem but there was no response.
Can anyone help or suggest anything to try?
Thanks very much!

This game is too much fun to give up without trying a bit more. :D

Can you be more specific? At what stage of the season are you? Which buttons are you trying to clock on? Did you start a new game? Is your Roster Commands screen already open?

Just set up first season and trying to play game for the first time. All other icons work, but when I click on the Roster Commands button nothing happens.
Literally spent $100 for the game this morning (between Parallels and FOF), so was really hoping to get it going.
The Roster Commands screen isn't open cuz the Roster Commands button (the clipboard) doesn't cause anything to happen.
Hope that clarifies it. Sorry, I tried to give enough detail in the first post.

By the way, thanks for the quick initial response!

This is getting very frustrating. Not only did I delete and reinstall FOF7 numerous times, I also deleted and reinstalled Steam twice and nothing is working.
It's ludicrous that there isn't a support number for this product and I'm choked about spending $100 on this today and it doesn't work.
I appreciate the fact people looked my thread, but if no one has a solution is there perhaps a support number or email they could direct me to?
I sent an email to support@elicense but they responded and said they just sell the product....nothing to do with supporting it...
Seems strange that an intriguing product just picked up by Steam with a nice potential market upside wouldn't make itself a little more accessible!

Again, if anyone has a suggestion, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a parallels problem.

Please post more info about your system. If it's a retina display I seem to recall issues with text scaling. Dunno if that would cause the issues. Have you tried anything else in steam? I've had only slight slight issues with running dozens of seasons on a Mac. But I haven't messed around with the steam version or parallels.

Alternatively I'd try wrapping an install of steam with crossover(by codeweavers) and see if the same is due arises.

It is a retina display and there was an issue with text scaling when I first installed FOF. The game appeared about at about 1/4 its actual size, but I fixed that issue thanks to previous postings on this board!
I guess I'd have to buy another copy of the game to do it the way you've been doing it.
I'll cross my fingers that someone can offer help in the next while. If not, I'll definitely try what you're recommending.
Thanks for taking the time respond.

You're using a win license right?

Try boot camp.

Or virtual box.

Thanks Steve.
I thought Parallels was the cleanest, simplest way to get this going so that's why I chose it. Maybe I was wrong.
I'll try some of your suggestions.

Ah..yeah..I missed the part about it being a Mac issue. I don't think Macs are officially supported, though obviously many people are successful in playing on Macs. My guess is that you'll get closer to an answer here than with Customer Support if this is Mac-related.

Reinstall parallels. If there is an option to dynamically allocate space, chose the opposite of what you did last time.

Stevew: That worked. Thanks very much!!!
I had it set up for a minimal amount of space before. Once expanded, it worked great.
Thanks again.

You're welcome. Glad it worked out.
