Question on game planning defense

Is it possible to effectively run a game plan with only using one type of coverage. for example only get corners with bump amd run cover skills and set the game plan to 100% bump and run.
Kinda like what the seahawks do where you run your defense and make teams beat you as opposed to mix it up and try and fool the offense.

It was possible to do this in FOF2K4. FOF2K7 made it much less advantageous, to the point that pretty much everyone abandoned it. I haven't seen anyone post that they've tried it in FOF7.
