What do you look for in making this conversion?

G to C tends to be a damn near seamless transition to me. I usually end up moving a G or a T there if I don't have a good one and the draft pool is weak.. For a G move, I usually look for guys with the dimensions of a C, shorter, not quite as heavy, good run blocking. For T to C, I go for the same type of thing, a shorter and lighter type. It is a good way to hide the weakness of a poor pass protecting T too.

I've almost always used a G to C convert. If they are lighter and you are told it would be an increase (and you need a C), do it. I've never had a bust.
