The match is in progress, 4 minutes of the first half have been played.
594 spectators arrived at Fantastic Flying Froggies Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Fantastic had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation. They fielded: Tuil - Courtois, Jean-Jean, Momot, Douglade - Randoux, Lacroux, Faillon, Racher, Percy - Jubert.

Manhattan started off with a 5-4-1 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Nolen - Mortensen, Wiling, Long, Szalai, Bouvier - Gwilt, García, Dennison, Judd - Albaret.

In the 24:th minute Gabriel Jean-Jean almost put the home team one ahead on a cross pass coming in from the right, but the shot went wide.

At last, something happened !

Incidently, what is the record for most consecutive posts by one person ?

fantastic flying froggies
05-14-2003, 08:29 AM
29th, Manhattan's Brian Long scored 0 - 1 by shooting accurately and hard from a long distance, leaving the opponent goalie no other option than to pick up the ball from the net.

Did I mention I was playing mainly backups ? :D

(Not helping though, they're down 0-1 early)

Meanwhile, Frankfort's up 1-0 on Rochester early.

After 13 minutes Frankfort put themselves up by 0 - 1 as Michael Chopin finished off a strike from the left with a real cannon placed at the far post.

Hah, I haven't even paid attention to my HT team for the last couple of weeks, I've just checked in long enough to accept friendlies, etc..

I just went in there and realized that my 1st and 2nd string goalies are injured, ain't that a bitch? This could be pretty ugly.

Anywho, I think my HT career could end after the FOFC Cup, I've just lost all interest in following it, not sure exactly why.

This is an unedited match report of mine from last week. Doesn't have starting line-ups or best and worst players(obviously)

José Javier Gorostarzu came close to putting the visiting team one up in the 18:th minute, following a solo raid down the middle, but Tommy Weinstein managed to tip the ball to a corner. 0 - 0 was the half-time score. Fighting held the ball, with a clear 57 percent possession rate.

Fighting, bringing the final ball possession rate to 72 percent, dominated the battle.

That is right, one event in the whole game!
