Here we go: Answer a series of questions, with responses that are both correct and, hopefully, uncommon among those responding. You will score points based on your ability to give correct answers, but your scores will be better if you submit answers that are duplicated by relatively few other responders.
For each of the six questions below, your score for each correct answer will be equal to the number of people who responded with that answer. Any incorrect answer will receive a score of either 10 or the highest score of any correct answer, whichever is higher. In total, your score will be the product of your six answer scores. Lowest total score is the winner, and gets the honor of making up the next set of questions in Make Mine Rare!
So, if you submit six correct answers, and they are fairly rare, you might receive this score:
2 x 1 x 4 x 2 x 1 x 1 = 16
However, if you submit an incorrect answer and a few pretty common ones, your score might be:
4 x 10 x 2 x 5 x 3 x 2 = 2,400
You are to send your response to me by way of a personal message, via this forum. Responses sent in any other fashion will not be considered.
All determinations of "correct" and "duplicate" and so forth are according to the sole judge, myself.
Here are the six questions:
1. Name one area in which one can receive a Nobel Prize award.
2. Name one of Snow White's seven dwarfs (as per Walt Disney).
3. Name one of the denominations of overall coach skills in Hattrick.
4. Name one of the characters in the main cast of "Friends".
5. Name a Beatles studio album (no compilations or boxed sets).
6. Name a regular FOFC post count title (you know, below your name on each post) that isn't personally awarded.
You have until 12 A.M. (EST) on May 19th, 2003 (Monday Morning) to send me the answers. Good luck!
