Hey Apoc.... i remember you saying awhile ago that your RL friend was the GM of The Green Mages in my divison. Well, your friend is really pissing me off!!! and i'll tell ya why....
His team is good..... very good actually, 61 NSI last week. If i had his team i would rip my divison to pieces. So how he got auto-demoted last year i'll never know. Anyway he's in a divison this year where everyteam in it just got they're team at the end of last season. And he's had his team for 4 seasons now.
This is what i wanted to happen. I wanted him to basically kick all of our asses this year, get auto-promoted and send a crappy 8th place divison IV team down to my divison so i could spank them and win the divison next year.
But somehow he's managed to tie a team he should have killed and lose to a team that never logs in. I think he Pic'ed the game that he tied because his NSI was low that game. But the reason he lost the other game is so simple. He runs a 3-5-2 with his right wingback playing inner midfield. He doesn't bring a central defender towards the wing so his right side defense is weak. The other team had a strong left side attack, so they scored 4 goals from that side. If he would have done his homework, he would have known they're left side attack was good and adjusted accordingly.
He never changes it up to keep us off guard. he runs the same line-up/formation every week and never adjusts to the team he's playing. Now if i beat him on sunday i'll more then likely win the divison. But i'll probally lose my promotion game. even if i win it im not ready for divison IV yet, im still new.
If he beats me and wins out the rest of the year (which he'll probally do) he'll have kind of a tough promotion game since he will only have 37 points. So even if he wins his promotion game a tough team will drop down to my divison next year. And if he loses his promotion game then i have to deal with him for another season.
Thats why im mad at him. :)
tell him to get on the ball, teach him how to play this game will ya??? He's holding me back!
