Doesn't look like much, but that's a pretty good pull. Stamina is pretty easy to boost, a week here and there and he could be to passable by the time he pops to solid, then will be worth a bundle...

Frog, the trick to getting a good youth pull is:

Instead of as many virgin three-legged goats, find one virgin two headed frog. Then bite one of it's heads off, and find it a mate to lose its virginity to. Then while it is losing it's virginity, pick the frogs up and throw them onto your roof. This simulates their honeymoon, and appeases the hattrick gods. It may be messy, but well worth it. ;)

The resulting head butt has him listed as +3, down from +4 after the incident. His passable/ugly form made him the backup to my inad/solid form, so I just listed his ass for 70K. Now, forced to pull a keeper....

Youth pulls are crap shoot, you could get lucky and get a passable keeper, or at least your inadequate keeper you've been shopping for... Weak is not all bad...

And the reason I suggested a keeper is for that reason. It seems that weaker youth squads have more luck with keepers thatn outfield players.

Sid also looks a lot more apt to "pop" to passable at defense (which sucks because I want to train playmaking and haven't done so for weeks now)

Oh, I know. But, 2 things.

1) He's low passable. I've been training PM long enough to be quite certain of that.

2) My 3 PM trainees consist of...

- A 17 year old who just popped to passable, but he has inadequate passing. He'll pop once more before the season ends.

- An 18 year old who is 2 weeks away from solid.

- A 17 year old inadequate, who is a project. He's a passable winger, and I intend to train him at full PM to become my future TM winger.

Thusly...had my pull's winger skill been weak or higher, he woulda won the job hands down.

I'm pleased for 2 reasons. My trainee keeper is poping Excellent next week & is being sold. This guy can step in (provicing next weeks pull isn't better) to the gap & be the next trainee. This also makes last week's 19yr old passable keeper a sellable commodity.

The second reason I'm pleased is that he's popular. I only have one other player with leadership that is equal to/higher than his, so in essence, if I transfer list that guy, this guy will be my clown.

On a side note, I did place a bid on your solid playmaker, but you put him on the market at an atrocious time for us in America. He was timed with a deadline set for 7:30 AM EDT this morning, there was no way I was gonna wake up only to get into a bidfight for that dude...

Maybe I'm only superstitious, but I usually put my players on the market around 5:30 PM EDT, that's 23:30 Hattrick time. That way, I feel I maximize my chances of having a tiny bidwar on my player... Your 7:30 EDT was 13:30 HT-time, pretty much middle of the day...
