I think next year I'll train midfield instead of defense so that I can generate some scoring...(sigh).

Actually, I'm more waiting for the mighty grudge match in the offseason between myself and DK, as the battle between Fun and Boring reaches its zenith. :)

Run and shoot forever! Say, if you play DK, feel free to "borrow" Bettis and Sumner!

A rematch of last cups most uneventful and boring match, Screamin Seamen vs. Ruskies would be interesting. SOMETHING would have to happen this time.

A classic defensive battle that was. Here's the match report:

In the 6:th minute the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending and Stacy Hirsch put the ball away for 0 - 1. The teams went for a half-time break at 0 - 1. Ruskies held the ball, with a clear 53 percent possession rate.

Ruskies, bringing the final ball possession rate to 54 percent, dominated the battle.

Excitement incarnate. :D

Oh you haven't heard.

Me and DK have already planned on an offseason shootout with starters. FOFC grudge match game of the year.

Kindly purchase some plane tickets for Bettis and Sumner. :)

Umm, that is because Canada Sucks! ;) It has nothing to do with the fact that my back up team chokes a lot. Nothing to do with the fact that they have no stamina. It is all because of Canada!

Nice job on your solid midfield by the way. I had a solid left defense once. Kind of the same I guess. :)

Hmmm.. Group J Hamas Mad Bombers favored.

Well the Bombers were out classed by the mighty SHAW SHANKSTERS!!!!!!

2-1 defensive struggle. Hamas almost made a comeback, but alas they just fell short.

I'd rather my middies just get be in playable form by the offseason.

And, as I saw in this week's league match, the Mosley / Loven Striker Combination of Horrible Doom is downright brutal.

Find me a decent winger to play alongside Wiley Otero, and DK is doomed. Doomed, I say!

Don't worry, I plan on waving hotdogs on hooks to keep your mind off the soccer game. That and I'm going to have the guys wear puke green socks. Now that I think of it, Crawfish are probably color blind.

Dang it.

Not sure on the color blind thing, but they wear really dark sunglasses. Shooting lasers and all can be tough on the eyes. Hopefully we will have a good game which is mostly injury free. (Crawfish on the sack tends to be injured but training which is fine :))

Crawfish, more commonly known as crayfish (which is what I called them growing up), common name for any crustacean resembling but smaller than their relatives the lobsters, can grow up to 16 inches; the first of their five pairs of walking legs is equipped with strong claws. Crayfish usually live in freshwater rivers.

Some cave-dwelling crayfish species are blind, such as those of Kentucky's Mammoth Cave. However, I don't think the other are colorblind, but I guess you can't tell unless you are actually looking through the eyes of a crayfish.

Is this generally a North/South thing? I grew up in New Jersey, and everyone hear also called them Crayfish. To me it seemed to only be southerners that called them crawfish, but frankly I don't think I've ever heard more than a handful of people say the word in my lifetime.

Instead of having defensive wingbacks, I am searching for the "Break them" command. Anyone help me out with this?

PS "You better guard your daughters or they will be" Les "their" Cherry"s" will be making a visit tonight to many of your players wives or girlfriends. Enjoy.

Oh yeah, good luck...surviving the Crawfish with Laser Blasters instead of Claws!!!!

Thanks for the heads up. We're all making "cheesecake" for him.

Did I mention our promotion for the match? We're giving away shrimp, crab legs, and boiled crawfish to every fan. In addition, every VIP box will have complimentary sniper rifles, we'll "double check" to ensure the rifles are NOT loaded prior to the giveaway.

Unfortunately, security may not be able to screen for bullets at the gate.

I am loading up a bus full of the Crawfish Crazies. They will ride with the team and ensure an even crowd.

Boiled Crawfish. You have gone to far! This is no longer a "friendly", this is war! Poor Billy the Crawfish lost both his parents to the boiler. The squad has informed me that they will win one for Billy the Crawfish!

Unfortunately, we didn't get the news to you in time I guess. This "friendly" is open to fans by invitation only. You must not have got your fans invitations, because I never sent them out!

Your busload will have to rent a room at the local Motel 6 and watch the game on tv if they want to see this one, I'm even bumping up the security around the grounds to ensure that only those "invited" enter the stadium.

Sorry, man, I meant to send out those invitations. :) Maybe you can talk to Horned and get his invitation. Oh yeah, I didn't mail that one out either.:)

No problem. We have plenty left, as we only had just less than 2000 show up for the match. I'm very disappointed to see that we only handed out 43 sniper rifles, when we had 500 waiting to distribute.

Alas, the Raider fans knew we'd win, so they didn't show up. They're a fickle group out here, but I love em.
