Not sure, how old are they and how important are they to your team/ training program?

Marty Barthomolew is 25 but my best option at wingback and he had 2 goals in game 1.
Mike Jackson is 22 years old and tied as my best defender.

If you really, really need them back as soon as possible. If you don't want to spend the loot, go with fewer. They aren't too old so they probably will heal decently on their own.

I know you don't want my advice, but from similiar experiences I have had, 1 or 2 should get them back in about a week or so. I haven't tried more, so I don't know the effect they could have.

One thing I have relized just this week is that adding doctors in the middle of the week doesn't seem to do anything. Let me explain.
Last Wednesday, one of my trainee got injured, initially for 3 weeks. First update thursday morning, he is now showin 2 weeks and his value has dropped an even $10,000. I take note of it to see the next day how much value he will have gained to try and estimate when he'll be back. At that moment, I had 1 doctor on staff. Friday morning, training update, he gains 1000, so I figured he'll be off another 9 days (10 days total to regain the total 10,000). Since we were two updates away from the weekly update (in which staff salaries are paid) I thought: "hey wise guy, just wait two days to add 3 doctors, and with four total, you'll get your player to bruised but playing for next Wednesday's game and then fire the doctors before the next weekly update, paying them only their one week severance pay". Follow me up to there. So two days pass, my injured player gains his regular 1000 a day of value, showing that he's healing properly. sunday morning I go and hire three doctors, pushing my total to 4, thinking that Monday morning my guy will have probably gained at least a little more than his usual 1000. I WAS WRONG. He's been gaining 1000 of value every since then. I got three extra doctors and they are not doing anything!!!
Even more so, in Sunday night's game, another one of my trainees got also hurt for, initially for 2 weeks but was already at bruised but training at the first update following his injury. He had lost 6000 of value and is now gaining only 1000 too.
Both trainees are 17yo.
So, my conlusion would be that for a doctor to add anything to the healing process, you have to have paid him on your weekly update. I won't keep the 4 doctors on my staff since I won't need them, but from now on, I will keep two instead of only one. I know it may seem unnecessary at times, but I train at 100% and nicks and bruises are frequent...
What are your thoughts about this? Does my little study prove anything?

Frogman, I keep one on staff at all times, I may consider more when finances permit. It definately helps the bruised but playing and training guys. I also is good for the +1 guys because generally they are bruised but training by the time training rolls around.

I do the same. I can't even remember the last time both squads were completely healthy.

The Afoci, I was doing the same, one doctor on staff at all time. Now seeeing that it takes almost a week before some new doctors can be added, I have decided to up that number to 2 regular doctors on staff... I know I will probably pay a little for nothing at some times, but like Nyar just said, I can't remember the last time both my squads were healthy.

Yeah, as my debt problems are being erased, I am starting to seriously consider adding the second one.
