FOFC NASCAR DASH Series

I'm missing our FOFC cup racing, so I thought I'd try starting up a new, slightly different series. The premise being sorta like the soccer system in europe, There will be 3 divisions, with as many FOFC drivers as possible in each division. At the end of each season the top 5 drivers (approximately 1/9 of the field) will be prmoted to the next level, whicl the bottom 5 drop to the lower level.


All FOFC members will be entered in the lowest level first, and earn their way up the standings. I will post the first season of the Dash series, then run a season of dual races with teh Dash and Busch series, then in season 3 there will be 3 races per race *weekend*.

This is all dependant on the FOF members being prmotoed that far that soon =)

If you'r interested there will be 42 spots in each series, only 1 driver per FOFC Member. I'm not looking for full membership in ewach series, more I want to see how our namesakes do on their own over time.

All cars will have identical stats at each level. I MAY if I work out something simple, allow added points to be added based on driver performance over a full season. I'm working on a system that should work, but its gotta be tested. While I'm testing this I'll take signups for the inaugural FOFC Dash Series!

*update* I will be tracking each FOFC drivers record including cash earnings and posting them at irregular intervals during any given season.

FOFC Username
Car Make (Ford,Chevy,Dodge,Mercury, etc)
Car Model (Monte Carlo, Taurus, Fusion, Grand Prix, Etc)
Favorite Number (First come first served)

Owners names and sponsors will be given based on my own little dice game here. Basically it will be random and I'll drop a little note in for each announcement.

The First two FOFC Entrants have been hired on to drive for teams in the FOFC Dash Series:

RendeR will be driving the #11 Old Spice Dodge Charger for Penske South Racing. Roger took a leap of faith that RendeR can put his emotional outbursts to good use on the race track.

Illinifan will be driving the #6 John Deere Tractors Dodge Charger for Newman-Haas Motorsports. Haas saw this young upstart on the open wheel circuit and decided to land him fast.

New Drivers arriving daily!

SirFozzie was hired on by Dale Eernhardt Incorporated to drive their shiny new #8 Taco Bell Dodge Charger. Team owner Theresa Earnhardt commented "Damn that boys got a fine A...err...car.."

DeToxRox was a quick pickup by the Roush racing stables to pilot the Smirnoff Triple Black Dodge Charger sporting the number 21. Jack was unavailable for comment on his new drivers name and new sponsor.....

MacroGuru steps behind the wheel of the Joe Gibbs Racing #20 Interstate Batteries Chevrolet Monte Carlo. When asked, Team owner Coy Gibbs just shook his head and said "He's a winner."

TheAlmighty was tabbed to take over the #32 Chip Gannassi Racing Dodge Charger with Tide as its primary sponsor. Tide hasn't picked a bad driver yet, we'll see how this one turns out.

Kingfc22 got the call he was looking for from Bill Davis Racing to jump into the #22 MBNA Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Davis is reknoned for finding diamons in the rough. Good luck kingfc22!

TheLionKing has been hired as AJ Foyt's newest driver project. He'll pilot the Foyt Racing #14 Mountain Dew Livewire Ford Fusion.

tucker342 lucked out and found a ride with Roush Racing. Jack put the youngster into the #3 FRAM Filters Ford Fusion. (Say that 10 times fast...)

I'm going to take 1 more driver and then begin season 1 of the Dash Level. New drivers after than have the choice of joining mid-season or being queued up for the second season.
