I hate it, and you too Jim!

After buying the game, I started with who else but my Indy Colts. My first five years went something like this:

2006 - 12-4, lost to NE in 2nd round
2007 - 14-2, lost to NE in AFC Championship game
2008 - 13-3, NE lost in 2nd round, I make it to Super Bowl!...lose to Eli Manning and the Giants
2009 - 12-4, lost to NE in the AFC Championship game
2010 - 2-14, Manning out for season on the first play of the first game...against New England!

That was just too much, I had to start a new game. I started a one player universe in 1960, took up my Colts.

First two years we stink, but that's to be expected. My third year we go from 4-12 to 14-2, best offense and defense in the league. 2nd round of the playoffs, I lose to...New England.

I'm just going to go cry in a dark corner for now.

If only Denver could knock off NE in all those championship games, things would be perfect. :) :)

But the Broncos would have already been eliminated by the Colts! ;)

LOL, just like I (and many others) don't really hate Marc Vaughan in particular and SI Games in general... Or maybe I (we) do... :)

The rock, paper, scissors of the AFC. Colts beat the Broncos, Patriots beat the Colts, Broncos beat the Patriots.

And the Steelers just get lucky and screw things up once in awhile. :)

I agree with jbmagic, I have the same and I love it .. I wanted the bose system but will probably get that in the future.

The offending phrase bolded and italicized by your friendly neighborhood Crim.

PS Blitzberger, just messin wif the new guy a bit, don't take it personally. Now, the Steelers' impending destruction at the hands of the Broncos, that you can take personally...

:D ;) :D

Just goes to show that Jim makes the most realistic NFL sim out there hands down.

I'm loving the NE always beats Colts code.

BTW, in that first season, I took Detroit to 9-7 but we narrowly missed the playoffs. In the AFC Championship Game, it was...New England at Indy. Indy won 27-0, and Peyton Manning was Game MVP with 35/49, 337 yards, 3 TDs and a 110.6 rating!
