THIS is something I've never seen before in FOF. Week 8 of an ordinary season, a KICKER Jerald Sparkman is named the Offensive Player of the Week. He was 5/5, with 3 of them being 40-49 and 1 being 50+, in a 15-13 victory. Has anyone else seen a Kicker named the OPOW?

Never. I like it though. It just further emphasizes that the normal QB lock for the spot is done and gone with.

Yeah, except I still usually see QBs making it over more-than-deserving RBs.

Player of the Game is still heavily favored toward QB's. I had a WR with two consecutive 200+ yard games with 2 TD's (QB only had 300-350 yards and 3 TD's) and the QB got PotG each time.

Qbs probably should make OPOTW almost all of the time. A kicker would have to have the game of a lifetime to justify it, the added value of a great game by a kicker is pretty small. Also, pretty much no RB/WR/Kicker/etc should ever win OPOTY or MVP if we go by true value over replacement player to determine who the best is and not just "who had the best fantasy stats". Same is true for OPOTW to a lesser extent--sometimes RBs and WRs should win but only if they have a spectacular performance.
