When we submit our league files to Solecismic for conversion to FOF2k7, do we have any idea how this will affect our players?

For instance,

I am under the assumption that if you have a 87/87 Punter in FOF2k4, it will go through the converter, and in FOF2k7 you will have *roughly* an 87/87 punter.

Maybe it's safe to say that experience may be a substantial modifier.

But what about hidden ratings and tags? For instance, say my punter in FOF2k7 is "injury prone". Will that translate properly to FOF2k7?

I guess a concern for me is that I have a certain "feel" for who my regular starters are and who I hold my breath for week in and week out.

Basically, will I still be able to do that in the first season or two in FOF2k7, or will that sort of information be random or leveled? I hope I'm getting my question across okay.

As it stands now, there are no answers to your questions. Jim hasn't given any detail on it. All we know so far is the conversion may result in "gaps" in statistics and that it has to be done at season's end in the game. That's about it.

I'm guessing the ratings and under the hood stuff will track pretty closely. Don't know about the other stuff.

Someone tell Jim it would be nice to be able to do the same with SP games as well.

I suspect it will be like OOTP conversions went when that game upgraded. Most players stayed about the same, but there were a couple guys who changed quite a bit. Just minor tweaks in ratings can change the whole game for some guys.
