After evaluating my new team, I am best suited to run a smash-mouth, ultra-conservative game plan, featuring the short passing game and lots of running the ball.

while i love the roster management aspects of the game, i find the actual gameplanning to be tedious. I would love it if someone had a gameplan like this, that they would be willing to share...

After you do it the first time, it's pretty painless after that. Take the half hour to one hour to do it and then you're pretty much set after that.

If you don't like game planning, just let the AI take over. It actually does a solid job of adapting to your strengths while still avoiding game theoretic exploitability. It's difficult to add more than fractional wins to your record in this iteration from my testing.
