Delete Saved Games?

Can anyone help me figure out how to delete saved games in the game? I guess I could kill the files in the universe folder, but it's so messy. :)

I think the option is only active when you first load the game now.

When you first start FOF2007, there is an icon on the toolbar that looks like a folder with an red x over the top. Click on the icon and you get to select which saved game you want to delete.

Mine is greyed out for some reason. I'll need to look at it some more.

It is grayed out if you open your saved game. Click on that icon where you usually open your saved game. If it is still grayed out, then I don't know what to tell you.

LeagueC21.2006, LeagueC22.2006, LeagueC23.2006. My league is called LeagueC2. The dates/time that these were created are about the same as when I Saved the game. Does the game make backup copies every time I save the game? Will these files ever be deleted?

All files linked to LeagueC2 will be deleted when you use the delete funtion. I think the 1, 2 & 3 refer to the box scores and game logs, week by week. Could be wrong though.

Throwing this in here if I'm ever in search of it again.

How to delete a saved game in a multiplayer league:
1. go to the leagues folder
2. delete the files that are related to the right league and team (for both you need their 8-digit and 2-digit codes respectively) the files to be deleted are:
leaguecode.teamcodeQ
leaguecode.teamcodeP
leaguecode.0teamcode

In fact, you may not have to delete all three of them, but so I did and it worked for me.

And in case you wonder why I delete a save game, I've got a team fulltime (again) in a league where I also did some temp GMing for a different team when I didn't have a team. I don't want to put myself in a position where I accidentally load the wrong game and see stuff I shouldn't be able to see.
