Not trying to steal the original groups thunder, but would anyone be interested in doing a new group think? We don't need a ton of people.
I'd prefer to do a to-date NFL style one. Any team. If there is no interest I think I'll try and get into a MP league.
Thanks for reading! We can decide roles etc. once we drum up some interest.

I think I'm going to join that MP league, but I'd also be interested in doing the new groupthink. I started to get involved in the first one, but I didn't have the game at the time and I fell way behind in it. Now that patch C is out and I have the game I think a groupthink would be fun. Especially one for us newbs who don't have as much previous FOF experience as those who were in the original groupthink.

So is that a "yes?" Let's see if we can drum up some more interest. I'm not sure how many we need but I guess we could start by listing the positions we'd like to fill.
I'll start the list:
GM
Offensive Coach
Defensive Coach
Very broad to start but I'm not sure what else we need/want. Let's see what happens. I do not have a preference whether we base this off of the other group thinks or do something different.

As a complete and utter noob (simmed my first 6 games last night) I am just bamboozled by the massive amount of options so following something like this would be fantastic.
However offering advice would be rather useless on my part as well....I have no freaking clue at this point :D

Don't sweat it. I'm assuming you know football and that's a start. I'd almost prefer to have some inexperienced people around instead of people who may know a bit more on how to work the system/game.
it's like anything else in life, a lot at first but quickly becomes managable.
For the record I would want to be on the personel side of the team. I do not have much experience in coaching and the like but have always been drawn to the personel and financial side of things.

Yes, that was a yes from me.
I'm not sure about filling a particular role. I'd prefer to just follow along and comment or vote on things as they arise. However, if someone else wants a particular role that is fine by me too.

Things going great.... I finnaly had enought of TPF and the NFLsim after 10 seasons. It was clear after a while the game made the rookies way to good so everyone went on a trade spree dealing away top vet talent for draft picks after 3-4 weeks of the season. Made it horribly unballanced and any assemblance of the NFL was gone. So I decided to finnaly jump into FOF and give it a shot.
BTW I would love to join this group think thing if I had a clue what exactly you guys are doing...LOL
I will step up and throw my name in for Def Coach if you can give me some idea whats involved here.

Well, I guess we could get started with a league file at least. What team are we thinking of taking? Anything but the Lions (that's the team I'm using for my own league and I don't want to confuse the two lol).
