Just curious how the Hall of Fame works in 2007? I know in FOF2002 that big name guys that retired after the first few seasons (ie. maybe Jerry Rice for instance) would be elected into the FOF Hall of Fame five years later, even though in the FOF universe they hadn't really accomplished anything. It seemed as though Jim had programmed these guys to just go in upon their retirement (which I thought was a nice feature).
I'm playing now in 2017 and I still haven't had any players enter the Hall of Fame (I believe I started the game with patch "b"). Am I to believe that the system has changed and players need to actually accomplish statistics in the FOF universe to enter the Hall of Fame, rather than having their actual previous NFL career stats go towards this accomplishment as well?
If this is the case, when do guys start actually entering the Hall? I would assume it wouldn't be until about 15 years into a career.
Thanks.
