Historic Draft Class...will this work?

I'm new to FOF and I'm starting a new league with the 1970 Fictional players. I'd like to import a random historic draft class each year. My question is will this cause issues due to date of births and players with negative ages or is the game purely based on experience? (ie. Year is 1971 and I import the 2006 draft class with birthdates in the 80s)

The birthdates would screw it up. The game doesn't change the draft class' birthdates so they make sense. I would guess that the game would crash in the scenario you detail above or if you were importing a 1971 draft class into your 1999 game, everyone would retire after one year.

Thanks for posting the info Raiders....I was wandering why all my previous drafted players were missing after I clicked end season.I imported the 71 draft class to a current game.
