My QB is rated 35-35 decent but nothing special.
We went to the playoffs 2 years in a row with this guy but I felt his Interceptions were way to high.
So I did just a small TEST.
1 year FOF2007 interceptions 449
2005 stats NFL 30-QB = 350
2004 stats NFL 30-QB = 397
Anyone else notice anything on interceptions.
Anyone else having success finding a QB.
Anything over 50 is a ALL-STAR

Ok good...I will keep playing and recording this.
Maybe the talent is just down at QB.
Almost every QB in the league has more INT than TD's
I will run another season tomorrow.

WAFL has aberrantly low league-wide passing stats so far. We'll see if it continues in the future. We started with a fictional player pool, which could explain the screwiness.
PassO Att Cmp Pct Yards Yds/C Yds/A Avg/GP Rate PPly
League 2029 1098 54.1 11356 10.34 5.60 177.4 64.0 4348
Defn OpPDPct Int
280 76.0 73
That's for 64 total games(2 weeks). We're on pace for 584 interceptions. :o

SEASON 10: INTERCEPTION
I can't draft a QB to save my life.
I picked up a 25-50 5th yr FA and a mentor.
QB tosses 3900 yds and goes 30-TD to 6-int
QB now rated 34-50
I picked up enough talent to win the SuperBowl(12-4)
Just for KICKS.
I will post the INT numbers tomorrow.

I've found it to be worthwhile to mortgage the future for a sure-thing rookie QB. Twice I've dealt 3 1st round and 2 2nd round picks to move into the top 3 of the 1st round, and twice I've drafted absolute studs who, combined, have lead me to 14 playoff appearances and 9 Bowl victories (in 10 tries) in 17 years. And actually, if I throw out the 2 years neither of them QB'd my team, that's 14 playoff appearances in 15 years.

As far as league-wide INTs through my 17 seasons, my league has pretty consistently averaged between 450-480 INTs a year. Two years were abnormally low (406 and 417), and one year we had 517.
As far as individual INT numbers, the most QBs with 20+ INTs I had in any one season was 4 - multiple times. Twice I had none, the rest were in between.
Based on your original post, I think my league-wide INT numbers have been excessive, but it isn't really translating to multiple individuals throwing tons of INTs.

SEASON 10: INT-TEST
406-INT
2QB- 20+ INT
Cleveland QB had 29 int - 18td's
-----
To be realistic we probably need to just start over.
We started this in year 8....probably not the best place to begin.

If I look at total team INTs, I get the same range as you. Same with league-wide INTs, too, pretty much - although I never had back-to-back low INT seasons like your 2014/2015.

I think it means all the bad QB's played for me and
were cut by me and retired.
No longer to poison my TEST.:)

Are there a large number of QB injuries? Maybe you are getting some really poor 2nd or 3rd string guys out there.

10 teams used backup QB's - some of those teams used 2 backups.
As I look at the backups I dont see any huge INT numbers between(1-4)ints
