Why do I have players whose weight is below average for their position, but bulking up will have no impact? Is it they are so far below it doesn't matter or age?

If we do another 20 Questions, that would be a good one to pose. My guess, though, is that it is modeling that some guys can never get above a certain weight, or below a certain weight.

It seems like every time I want to bulk up or trim down a player, that option is not available, but the opposite one is. Wondering at this point if it's a bug.

Wondering at this point if it's a bug.I've been able to bulk/trim as I desire at times. My take on it is that it isn't a bug, but a sign that the guy might be better off playing a different position. Or, based on Jim's 20 Questions answer, that he's always going to lean toward a certain skill set at his position. For example, the Falcons' Grady Jackson is never, ever, ever going to be a quick defensive tackle who is a great pass rusher, no matter how much you try to trim him down. Instead, get him in the weight room and make him stronger. On the opposite end, if you've got a 6'4", 285-pound DT who can't put on weight, either leave him at DT and accept that he'll never be a dominant run-stopper, or trim him down a little more and move him to DE.
