I had a back up undrafted rookie QB of mine appear on this list - and was a scrub I picked up for a kick holder.

Brent Talley, QB, 18/42 when I released him after training camp in his 2nd year, Loyalty 0, Wants Winner 57, Leadership 97, Intelligence 85, Personality 77, Popularity 1

Since I cut him, he has been signed and released twice by the Vikings (with about a year's gap where he was a FA) and has been picked up by Denver afterwards.

Purely as a result from this one example, which I appreciate is not enough to base such a definitive statement on, I have come to the conclusion that these guys cannot have much of an overall effect.

My reasoning is that if Talley's leadership skills were so great, combined with his 98 kick holding skils, 16 formations and reasonable green bars (he is currently 17/41), and likelihood of becoming a mentor, the AI would not have left him as FA between week 5 to the following pre-season.

To counter this slightly, he is only 5'9" (but 211 lbs), so maybe his beneficial use is purely as a holder.
