Evidently, the CPU GM/Coaches knew what the hell they were doing in FOF Arizona.

After already leading Arizona to the playoffs 5 of the first 6 years, I present Matt Leinart, 2012:

367/498 (73.7%!!!!) 4862 yards (9.76 YPA!!!!) 53 Touchdowns, only 8 picks.

He was rated 133.0, which I doubt will ever be topped in the career I am playing, maybe in any career.

The team goes 16-0, breezes through the playoffs and ends up in the Super Bowl versus my team (Cincinnati, fresh off a 15-1 campaign of our own.)

They then proceed to spank us all over the field, eventually piling up a 44-20 win. My defense went into the lockerroom afterwards less depressed and more with a feeling of awe after being privileged enough to step on the field against the single most dominant QB of all time.

I wish I had the gameplan they were using available to me just so I can see how they did it.

I can't fathom how a QB has 7 games rated over 130 in a season, only one rated less than 100 (90.3), and doesn't just suddenly tell everyone he is God and float up into nothingness laughing hysterically at all the "mere humans"..

Unless he was possessed.

The next season, his stat line: 278/479 (58%) 3369 yards (7.03 YPA) 18 tds, 10 ints.

The team goes 7-9 and misses the playoffs.

Should have never let the operation/exorcism/deicide take place, video Bidwills. Now we're back to talking about the realism in this game again.

I'm guessing the following season teams adjusted their defenses... :D

Considering the way he had been torching everyone for his first 6 seasons, I imagine 2012 was just a sort of "wake up call" for the league. That team from Arizona needed to be taken seriously, finally.

What impressed me so much was that it was a computer controlled player. I've never seen anything even close to that before.

Did you ever play Super Tecmo Bowl with Bo Jackson?

Leinhart has uniformly been an all-world stud in every new career I have started in FOF2K7. I even use the X-Factor, and he's still hands-down one of the top 3 QBs after 30 years or so.

I was playing my Packers Head Coach "tecmo dynasty" yesterday on the emulator, actually (I'm 5-4 right now)... Previous to coaching the Pack, I have had many stints coaching the Bengals, and there are a few teams I really get a challenge from. The L.A. Raiders are one of them, because not only Bo, but Marcus as well, and those speedy-ass receivers. You pick the wrong play, they score.

Ok, Bo was good, but that motherfucker at the controls is highly skilled. Very highly skilled. That was all world Tecmo-ing right there, even if it is against the Patriots.

I think that guy could probably run for a steady 8.0 ypa with someone like Keith Woodside.

I wish, I wish I wish there was a career mode for Tecmo.

On that one play Bo had a 3000 yard rushing season if you count sideline to sideline and the reverse direction runs and all.

Funny shit.

That Bo Jackson run in Techmo is just too bad!

It is sort of like the Michael Vick scramble ability in Madden 2007. He never gets worn out, and he is very hard to catch.

The question is, to get back to the topic, are Matt Leinhart's ratings set too high for the game? Is he going to really put up Steve Young and Payton Manning numbers?

Leinart hasn't been THAT badass in my career, but he has been MVP 3 times with a few 35/5 TD/INT seasons while throwing 4900 yards. No 5000 yard seasons though.

I wonder how many people will spell his name wrong after having a season like that.
