View Full Version : Stupid MP Question

I've never played MP before, but I have just joined two leagues. I've had no trouble exporting or uploading my file.

But something curious occurred when I exported and uploaded the file for the second league for the first time.

The export for the first league was no longer in the export folder.

Now I had already uploaded it, so it was a no harm no foul thing, but for future reference, does playing in multiple leagues cause one league's export file to overwrite the other export file?

If so, cool I understand what happened.

If not, where the heck did my file go?

Thanks in advance for helping a stupid newb.

You can't run two leagues at the same time without either 1) renaming your folders; or 2) using batch files. Frankly, it is a little weak that FOF has yet to be designed to handle this in-game. Go here: http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=55723&highlight=batch+files

Thanks, I printed it out and will try that.

But you have to do that just to play in a MP league, and not run one? if so, you're right, that's pretty darn cumbersome for a game that generally has a pretty good user interface.

And again, thanks for the help.

Yeah if you want to play in two or more MP leagues or one MP league and and SP game, you have to do it.

Um. While VfP's information is correct, it doesn't address your specific question:Now I had already uploaded it, so it was a no harm no foul thing, but for future reference, does playing in multiple leagues cause one league's export file to overwrite the other export file? The batch file method does not stop exports from overwriting one another in the export folder. That has never been an issue for me, since I always upload immediately after exporting.
