Something interesting with contract negotiations

I believe someone mentioned before that using the voidable option on a contract had no effect on the player signing with them. I have a different result.

I had an restricted FA who I offered a 5 year deal to. I reworked the contract from what he wanted and got the message that he wanted more money in the later seasons of the contract. Just for kicks I left everything alone and only changed the voidable option to on for 5 sacks. He accepted my offer. That's the 1st time this has happened but it's nice to see it works sometimes. :)

Nice. I always offer straight up contracts, but I'll tinker with the voidable option a little more now.

I've only had it happen once. But I never really looked at the reason. I'll have to look into his loyalty and things like that.
