i have a rookie DE in one of my MP leagues who is disgruntled at the moment. he was drafted in the 5th or 6th round and has had some playing time as a backup, but why in the world is he pissed? i dont ever remember a rookie being disgruntled before. i drafted him because his bars and combine were good, and has shown signs of being a creeper ( +4 PA after camp).

My team is currently in dead last half way thru the season, and i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem before with a late round rookie.

i should add he has no conflict with any players

Guys who are better than what your scout sees quite often will get disgruntled for no apparent reason. You don't know for sure what he is. Your scout doesn't know what he is. He, however, knows what he is.

Can you explain that to SWMBO? :D

In all seriousness, I can't say for certain that 100% of the time that's the case, but I've seen that happen quite often with young players who end up creeping a good bit. However, within a few seasons, my SP teams usually consist of 25 or so players rated 50 and up, and 28 or so young creepers, so I can't really give a lot of insight into whether or not this happens with youngsters that aren't any better than they appear. My impression, though, is that it happened most often with the guys who were a lot better than scouted, not just the guys that crept 5-10 points.
