View Full Version : Ideal length for my game

My next game is not going to have any deaths -- everyone will play all the way to the bitter end. In a game like this, what do you guys see as the ideal length?

I think a week is a nice length for a game.

I like games with between 6-10 game days. 10 days, however, would be pushing it when there would be so many people so I would say 5-8 for a game like you describe.

I prefer longer more involved games! The only problem with the long ones is what if you are the first out :( but if no one is getting bootted, go long!

There will be no more than 9 days in this one -- that's why I didn't have the poll go above that. If you think it should be more than 9 -- just vote for 9, I guess! :p

Thanks! I was hoping ot get in this one, but I didnt check often enough! Someone brought the curse of Mafia/ WW to TSW and now all I can do is F5 F5 F5 F5

yeah, waiting definitely sucks. Looks like the next game is being run by PurdueBrad, so it'll be cool to have a new player since it's a new GM (at least it's his first time doing it here).

Im looking forard to it! Heinz is doing a good job on TSW, but its no where near as active as here! and the back storys here are soooo detailed! im pumped!

total sports world

we play BBCF there, but there are lots of other leagues as well, form OOTP to some basketball sims and even hockey now! at first i thought it was annoying, but more people means more mafia players :)

It's TotalSportsWorld. It's run by Cooley and is a conglomeration of sim leagues (BBCF, OOTP, pro football, some hoops, hockey and basketball mixed in). The crown jewel is Gridiron Glory, a top-shelf league for BBCF.

But to be a touch on-topic, I like the idea of 7. It is after all a lucky number.
