Retirement question

Sorry if this has been asked or answered or whatever, but is there any retirement notification? Do you get an email or something along those lines that I just missed?

After the change to the new season, click on the "View Transaction Log" link and it will show all the retirements across the league. The players who have retired from your team will be highlighted in red...
